Patches & Fixes

You’ll get back on your feet again, no matter how long it takes.

You’ll find yourself again. Back to the person you’ve started to become, before whatever has happened now. You’ll find your way around this course and you’ll find your way back to yourself.

But for now, you are going to feel broken for a bit. Life’s going to break a little. Your heart is going to break a little. Although the pain feels like much now, I promise you it’s just a little of what’s really broken. You don’t want to feel that instead.

The worst has already happened. Nothing worse will come so don’t dwell on it.

Instead, use this time to pick up where you left off. That pause button you pressed on yourself last year or last month needs to be pressed play again.

You’ll stumble along the way. You’ll make mistakes. You may find yourself incapable of it anymore or even fall back into the same hole. Then, stop and reboot.

You need to learn to do this on your own.

Soon, you’re going to catch yourself smiling the widest smile you’ve ever smiled in a long time. Your rhythm comes back and the old self is going to sink in.

It may take a few months or a year.

As long as you get better, it’ll all be worth it.

So now, you’re going to focus on you.

‘Cause at the end of the day, the only person you’ll have is you.
