NEVER ENOUGH

This post goes out to the people who thinks they are not good enough. Or can never be good enough.

To the boy who has plenty of insecurities, but acts tough.

To the girl who has to keep her chin up high, although she has her inner battles.

To the teenage boy/girl who thinks of themselves as a raisin among the grapes.

To the teen at his/her 20s, struggling to find for the motivation and inspiration to continue on.

For the adult who is finding for an alternative to pay the bills and balance between work and family.

It never ends, does it?

We aim for positive results, thrive for success, but sometimes, the results are the ones that let us down. It tells us that we are not doing enough.

Each day, our struggles keep adding up and with this, we add up the weight of words that tells us that you aren’t doing enough ; that we need to keep going.

Now stop right there. You’re wrong.

We are enough.

Don’t let anyone say otherwise because they are not one to judge us. They can’t determine our way of life and they can’t just bring us down so easily.

You are enough.

Never say that you aren’t. Prove yourself wrong if you do, and maintain that stability. You are definitely the best version of yourself.

I am enough.

Repeat that sentence again. Say it to yourself and remind yourself every day before you go to work or school. Print it out and stick it on the wall if you need to.

Reach out to your friends who thinks that they can’t meet up their own goals because they aren’t “enough”. Help them reach their goals as you reach yours.

So, know that you’re enough, act like you’re enough and prove that you’re enough.

Enough for what?

Enough to live this life and to be you. Enough to achieve your dreams. Enough to stand tall in this heavy-hearted world.
