YOUNG BLOOD

Teenage. Teen age.

Two different meanings.

There’s one where we’re living in our teen years and the other is where we grow older as the years come.

One where we sit back and listen to our favorite rock bands all the time and the other where we can barely have the time to sit back and listen to music.

One where we always go hang out with friends randomly and the other where we only go out when there are reunions.

One where we jump into the pool like nobody’s watching and the other where we take our steps carefully and slowly into the pool so we wouldn’t slip.

Years pass by in a blink of an eye.

A phrase you hear from every elderly you talk to. A phrase you thought would never be true.

Be free to live your teenage years. Be free to do what you’ve been wanting to do. Be free to let yourself go crazy.

Because if you don’t, you’ll regret it in the future. You’ll look back and sigh at the days where you could’ve done crazy backflips but you were too reserved to yourself.

You’ll look back and smile at the days where you’ve been to the many adventures with your friends. You’ll look back and reminisce on the good ol’ days.

Don’t waste the young blood in you.

Live. Run. Venture.

Explore your youth days. Go outdoors and not stay indoors.

Breathe.

The life is yours.

Jump.

Reach for the sky. Reach for the impossible.

Then only, you can be satisfied with yourself.

Then only, you can say “I have no regrets.”
