To live healthily isn’t just about keeping track of your diet or to exercise to maintain a healthy body. The word ‘HEALTHY’ isn’t just for your body. It is also for your mind and your heart.

A healthy mind is a mind that is filled with positivity. A mind that absorbs various types of good vibes around. A mind that calls for happiness.

How do we have this ‘healthy mind’? Do we control it? Do we tell our minds on what to think about? Do we force a positive thought to it?

No.

Let your mind be free to explore. Open up the door of adventure to venture around other thoughts. Let your mind be one that is only attracted to positivity and not the opposite. When your mind is ‘healthy’, so is your heart.

The importance in maintaining a healthy mind is to shape your heart into a healthy one.

The mind is connected to the heart with strong emotion, but your mind is not only connected to your heart. It is also connected to your actions. As some people say, “Your actions reflect on your heart.” With that said, your attitude reflects on your heart.

How do we make a difference in our attitude?

Well, a human heart has four chambers; right atrium, left atrium, right ventricle and the left ventricle. Let’s fill those chambers with what the heart should consist of.

; Kindness, selflessness, patience and love.

With kindness, you learn to give more generously than to wait around and receive. With selflessness, you learn to stay humble and you learn that not everything has to revolve around your axis.

With patience, you learn that everything takes time. With love, you learn that it is important to pour more love into yourself than to pour love into other people.

So, take up the challenge to renew your mind. Change for the better.
